Harvard Business Review research studies recently confirmed yoga as an effective way to help company employees with their wellness initiatives. Yoga provides proven results in decreasing stress and anxiety, while increasing focus and overall well-being. Programs were most successful when the companies leadership team committed to the program and showed support by participating; and brought in an outside expert teacher to lead their program.
A Johnson & Johnson study showed companies who initiated a corporate yoga program had decreased absenteeism and increased morale and productivity.
While some companies hire Jo-Anne for weekly programs, others work with her to create a yoga or fitness class for their annual corporate retreat. When an annual company meeting is held for more than one day, we can create mindful movement exercises for participants of all fitness levels. A few examples of programs include:
